Our Story
Rooted in Tradition, Driven by Purpose
Founder John Lapp grew up in an Amish community where hard work, honesty, and attention to detail were a way of life. Though he left the culture at a young age, those roots still shape our company today. With over 10 years of hands-on experience in cabinet refinishing and remodeling, John has helped transform countless kitchens—giving homeowners a fresh, updated space without the cost of a full renovation.
When you work with us, you’re not just getting high-quality kitchen cabinet painting or cabinet refacing services. You’re partnering with a company that values trust, communication, and craftsmanship. Whether we’re installing soft-close drawers, new countertops, or helping you plan a full kitchen cabinet renovation, we do it with the same care we’d want in our own home. Most projects take just 2–3 days, and yes—you can even leave your items inside your cabinets while we work!

As a family, John and his wife, Kendra, are committed to making a difference not just locally, but globally. In 2021, Lapp Cabinet Coatings partnered with Angel House to sponsor a home for 12 abandoned girls in India. In 2022, they expanded that support to provide housing for 25 children.
